On this lovely, beautiful and windy day, we spent most day hours outside. First, we rose to cheer on David as he ran a 5K for a local church/school. He did this to help prep for the local Lombard, Mutt Strut next month. He ran it in 22 minutes, 58 seconds (3rd in his age bracket, 10th overall). Our entire family is very proud of him. :) Then we had to jet away to get ready for Jarrod and Jack's soccer games. It's neat to see how much our boys have grown. After lunch we were privileged to watch the soccer game of Tim, a good friend of ours. We just ended our evening with a cook out. We love Dave's burgers! All in all, an amazing day.

Wow, Dave! That's under 7:30 per mile. Impressive. Is that the new St John's school there in the background?
